In an effort to become a contemporary African conservancy model and inspire both Kenyans
and the world to protect natural habitats, Mugie has put in motion plans to create Ol Keju, a domestic tourism destination, within the conservancy. Ol Keju will feature an information and educational centre, reduced conservancy fees, accessible road, touristic activities and affordable accommodation, in order to bridge the significant gap in the tourism market that currently makes many ‘safari’ destinations unaffordable domestically.
